Hello everyone,
the first piece of this blog is about team of three members from Bangalore who try to solve a very general problem.We all love music,some like to listen it aloud and some like to enjoy it in solace on earphones.Most of the times we see that wires of this earphones get entangled and some of the people like me find it their favorite time pass and a sense of achievement to untangle these wires.But many of them find it completely irritating to untangle it when the urge to listen to your favorite song gets very strong or to attend an extremely private call from your GF/BF becomes critical.So this team observed this and thought to solve it in a desi way(don't get me wrong this is not a jugaad)
They started it by doing a CAD/CAM design of the product and tried and tested various designs and f arrived at a final design shown in the picture which was 3-D printed.
This team of 3 members have called their startup as wizworks and they have commercially manufactured this product for all of us.Its name is "rewind"and it is priced at 190 rupees.The product is available on the website itself.
Kudos to this team for manufacturing this product in Indian style.A way to go for them...

2.Amazon -Echo
Today there is no need to introduce Amazon.com to you,an online-retail behemoth which has constantly innovated with its offerings and private labels has now intr4oduced Amazon echo.Already having entered in the smart phone market by launching Amazon fire phone. the company has now forayed into a very promising project and have successfully developed Amazon-echo.
What is Amazon-echo
It is a cylindrical device which looks like a speaker(and a deo in the picture!),recognises voice and does many things.The most important thing it does is it answers many of your questions by using cloud.Whenever you ask something it will search for content on web and deliver answers.You can address this device as Alexa and if you say,"Alexa tell me whats the length of howrah bridge" it will tell you the answer.The other important thing it does is plays music and you can access Alexa from any corner of your room depending on the wifi capabilities.Alexa is primarily built to use voices as inputs.The other interesting about Alexa is it can also set up your to-do list and help you with reminders.
Though it is not launched in India yet, but it is available on invitation for 200$ in US.
The main objective of including this idea in my blog is because it displays integration of different technologies like cloud computing and voice recognition(Remember the ambulance drone??)into a device which makes technology more interactive with humans.Though not at par with the innovations done like google glass but this device is worth a mention.
